Vodacom has launched its 2018 summer campaign #SummerGigs in SA

Vodacom South Africa has introduced its 2018 summer campaign, #SummerGigs, which will allow subscribers to get up to 100% of their data back for free.

By using only, a minimum of 10MB per day of paid data to connect, like, share or live stream their summer experiences, all Vodacom subscribers will have a chance to win up to 100% of their data back to use the next day.

With summer already here, Vodacom has announced if subscribers who truly embrace the #SummerGigs campaign and use their data for seven consecutive days will also have the opportunity to enter a monthly draw for the chance to win one of 15 Renault Dusters (with a year’s supply of fuel) or stand a chance to win one of three R1 million Vodacom Millionaires cash prizes.

The Managing Executive of Brand and Communications of Vodacom, Abey Mokgwatsane, said, “Summer is all about having fun and sharing this with family and friends. That’s why we want to ensure that customers can look forward to connecting with each other this summer, and even being rewarded for doing so.”

Vodacom subscribers can opt-in by dialling *133# or by downloading the My Vodacom App to take part in the #SummerGigs campaign, which has started since 27 October 2018 and will last until 10 February 2019.

Mokgwatsane further declared, “We make sure that we ramp up coverage at popular holiday spots across the country over the summer season so we’re confident that we will keep customers connected while continuing to deliver great value through innovations like #SummerGigs.”

Last year’s, Vodacom’s 2017 summer campaign, ’Shake Every Day’ saw over 21 million users receiving data and prizes.
