TikTok has launched its Virtual Fan Pit, targeted at football fans across the MENA region. This will allow them to be involved in the tournament during the pandemic where the fan pit will be a platform for creators to share football-related content and take part in challenges for the chance to win prizes.
Rami Zeidan, Head of Video and Creative at TikTok, said: “The magic of football tournaments is the fans and their energy, therefore we wanted to ignite this passion on TikTok even if they can’t be there in person. With our advanced features and AR capabilities, our community across the region are able to share their love for the game in creative ways, whilst providing the opportunity for brands to connect with a captive audience of sports fans.”
TikTok is the official partner of the UEFA Euro 2020 and is the first digital entertainment platform to sponsor a major international tournament.
