StarTimes Media in Kenya has added the Smithsonian and Love Nature documentary channels to its offering. Love Nature is a 24-hour wild and marine animals’ channel that has been made accessible to Basic and Classic bouquet customers on the terrestrial platform, as well as on the Smart and Super bouquets for satellite subscribers.
The Smithsonian channel is an informative exploration and science documentary channel that has been added to the Super and Classic bouquet tiers on the terrestrial and satellite TV platforms respectively. StarTimes also started broadcasting the second season of the popular local drama “Nira” on 26 December 2019 on its local content channel, Rembo TV, along with the Emmy Award-winning soapie “Queen of Flow” on the Novela E Plus channel.
The pay TV operator has confirmed that it is continuing its campaign to upgrade the package where, for each monthly subscription made to the Nyota package, subscribers have access to the Basic package for the first two weeks. Subscribers who sign up for Basic automatically get an upgrade to Classic for the first two weeks at no additional cost. Nova bouquet Subscribers can switch to the Smart bouquet for the first two weeks.
Smart bouquet subscribers are upgraded to Super bouquet. The campaign also provides Super subscribers with ten additional days of access for each monthly subscription made.
