Zamani Com SAS acquired Orange Niger and rebranded the unit to Zamani Telecom. Since its sale in November 2019, the operator has invested more than XOF40 billion (US$74.6 million) into its networks and services.

Zamani Telecom is looking to boost its rural coverage, including the launch of a nationwide 3.5G offering to supplement its LTE-A services in the cities of Niamey and Diffa.
