Green Thumb, the new environmentally friendly series shot in the UAE which main focus is on sustainable farming is launched on National Geographic Kids Abu Dhabi.
The 16-episode Arabic series will follow a young environmentalist while exploring different farming methods, their benefits, and applications. There will also be some featured segments on how to build a farm, with an interactive show focusing on encouraging kids to build their own sustainable farms which includes using crates as plant pots.
One of the episodes will focus on the UAE’s vertical farms, highlighting the need for hydroponic farming in the region and its benefits in terms of water consumption.
The show will begin airing on National Geographic Kids Abu Dhabi at 4.30pm UAE time.
