CBC TV, Zambian broadcaster, and Liquid Telecom have joined forces to boost local content in Zambia.
The agreement will allow CBC TV to build its strategy on high quality and engaging content through Liquid Telecom’s digital channels.
“It’s no longer just about disseminating information and content, but now more than ever people are interested in being a part of the various conversations and decisions that affect them and the communities they exist in,” Sibisi said. “From getting news reports from the field to the station quicker and to the masses at lightning speed, the world-class internet service provided by Liquid Telecom is game-changing as the dynamics of journalism and the times have changed. The eyes of Africa and those of the world are on Zambia, and the Liquid Telecom brand is that conduit that will enhance the reach of CBC to the continent and beyond,” announced Rose Sibisi, CEO of CBC TV.
Established in 2008, CBC Television provides local content via DStv Channel, GoTV, TopStar and Strong TV Channel.
