In Ivory Coast, the television channel Life TV has acquired the rights to the UEFA Euro 2020, which has already started on June 11. The broadcaster has entered into an agreement with the rights-holder agency TVMS (TV Media Sport) to broadcast the matches of the competition, the summaries of the matches and additional content such as magazines.
“All the staff of Life TV are mobilized for the success of this exceptional operation which will confirm to all Ivorians the relevance of our program offer, including sports,” said Fabrice Sawegnon, CEO of Life TV. Also, at the head of the Voodoo Communication agency, he should find a solution to help the broadcaster make the content profitable despite the very short time between the conclusion of the agreement and the start of the competition.
The channel, available on the DTT platform, should in addition to having a very large audience thanks to the Euro, encourage a large part of the country’s population to equip themselves with decoders to access the national digital television platform.
