StarTimes has introduced a new channel to its DTH platform to motivate Ghanaian students to learn from home during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Ghana Learning TV, is a new 24-hour channel launched by the Ghana Education Service (GES) and it is geared towards distance learning for Senior High School and Junior High School students.
StarTimes said in a statement, “Ghana Learning TV channel 312 will be available to all subscribers including the over 6000 families who benefited from the StarTimes 300 villages’ program at no cost. Following a directive by President Akufo-Addo for the closure of all schools, as part of measures by the government to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus, StarTimes has put in place measures to cater for the educational needs of all students”.
