ducktv inks distribution agreement with Digital Virgo in Africa and Middle East

Kids TV service ducktv owner Mega Max Media has inked a partnership deal with mobile payments specialist Digital Virgo for distribution of the linear channel on the latter’s TV networks in Africa and the Middle East.

The channel has been rolled out through French service provider and technology company Molotov’s OTT service deployed by Digital Virgo in Senegal, Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast and in Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, UAE, Kuwait and Iraq.

ducktv is aimed at pre-school children from six months to four-years-old with a mix of content created in-house.

The Director of affiliate sales and business development at Mega Max Media, Iza Piotrowska, said, “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Digital Virgo and the debut of the ducktv linear channel on its services. This cooperation will significantly expand the reach of the ducktv brand bringing our expertly curated, high-quality toddler’s content to new audiences in numerous territories in Africa and the Middle East.”
