Beyond Rights secures distribution deals in MENA

Beyond Rights just secured deals for over 270 hours of scripted and unscripted programming with broadcasters in the Middle East and Africa.

In the Middle East region, Beyond Rights and OSN inked a deal for a 190-hour package of factual programming. The deal includes Hitched in Vegas, Maternity 24/7 and seven seasons of Love It or List It.

AETN Africa acquired seasons seven and eight of Love It or List It, along with two seasons of Filthy House SOS. The U.K. version of Pooch Perfect, a competitive dog-grooming series produced by Beyon Productions has been bought by BBC Africa and CBS acquired two true-crime series for Africa; Murder in the Outback: The Falconio and Lees Mystery and Handsome Devils.

The Tanzanian company, Azam Media acquired Halifax: Retribution, a show produced by Beyond Lonehand for Nine in Australia, for its international entertainment channel.

For both the Middle East and Africa, Discovery MENA bought the fifth season of Abandoned Engineering.
