Al Jazeera and TV5 Monde bag rights for second season of ‘The Ranch’

Al Jazeera, the Doha-based broadcaster, and TV5MONDE, the French channel, has acquired the rights for the season two of the animated series, ‘The Ranch’. While Al-Jazeera will be airing the series on its children and family’s channels, TV5MONDE sealed the deal for all the French-speaking territories. Also, Lagardere obtained the rights to be broadcasted on the channel ‘Gulli’ in Israel.

The animated series consists of 26 episodes lasting for 26 minutes each. It is produced by Zodiak Kids Studios, the global independent leader in kid’s entertainment. The first season, to recall, was sold into over 30 territories across the globe.

‘The Ranch’ is all about the story of four teenagers sharing a passion for horse-riding. When Lena, one of the teenagers, encounters a wild stallion named Mistral who has been injured, she decides to adopt and tame him. With the help of her friends Angelo, Anais and Hugo, Lena fights to keep the incontrollable horse.

The Ranch is an epic and sentimental adventure of four teens with their horses and the rescue home they build in the heart of the wild Camargue countryside.
