India’s Bharti Airtel subsidiary in Uganda has followed MTN’s step to launch internet bundles with no expiry dates, allowing subscribers to browse with flexibility and comfort.
The Chief Commercial Officer at Airtel Uganda, Amit Kapur, said, “The Chillax Bundles do not expire once subscribed to unless exhausted. The launch of these bundles is offering our customers more options to enjoy our fast and interrupted data services that are accessible in every corner of the country.”
The Chillax Bundles costs Shs 7,500 for a 1.5GB, Shs 25,000 for 7GB and Shs100, 000 for a 40 GB of data. This is almost the same price that MTN Uganda charges its customers for similar packages.
With continuous investment and innovation, Airtel Uganda has revolutionized the telecom industry in Uganda to meet the evolving needs of the customers. The company recently achieved 100% 4G LTE connectivity across the country closing the connectivity gap in Uganda. Uganda is among the first and few countries in Africa to achieve this milestone.
