As of 29th of January 2018, VUZU AMP, which is available on DStv Premium will be known as 1Magic. Three years after launching the M-Net AMP and M-Net Edge channels, M-Net and DStv are terminating VUZU AMP. 1Magic (DStv 103) will deliver the hottest local and international entertainment to DStv Premium and DStv Compact+ customers at great value.
On this rebranded channel, subscribers can look forward to an array of exclusive and riveting local programming like The River, Unmarried and Kheth’ oMthandayo and popular TV series as How to get away with Murder, The Real Housewives, The Fixer and later in 2018 will show the latest seasons of Ballers, Insecure and Queen Sugar. M-Net aims to help lift the existing VUZU AMP ratings closer to that of the existing set of Mzansi Magic channels.
In addition, M-Net clarified that 1Magic will be introducing a bigger exclusive local content slate than they currently have on VUZU AMP.
1Magic aims to become the entertainment destination of choice for viewers who enjoy gripping local dramas, movies, telenovelas, reality shows and also looking for the best in the latest pop-culture favourite programming in reality.
