In Mali, while several media had talked about the vagueness over the choice of the company responsible for broadcasting TNT signals, TNTSAT Africa contacted the Ecofin Agency to clarify the situation. The company sent us a press release concerning the authorization received from the High Authority for Communication (HAC), the audiovisual regulator in Mali, making it the sole distributor and broadcaster of the TNT in the country.
According to the document, HAC had accredited TNTSAT Africa since 24 October 2017 to broadcast the DTT signal. In this context, TNTSAT AFRICA has trained and equipped, according to the communiqué, in partnership with SES (the European Satellite Company) and its Elevate program, 3,000 young Malians to install DTT.
Until proven otherwise, TNTSAT Africa is responsible for broadcasting the DTT signal in Mali.
