In Tunisia, the general television channel Carthage + will soon be launched. The new station completed its experimental broadcast period, begun in August 2017, on the 11393 verticals (symbol rate 27500-polarization VC) of the Nilesat satellite, former frequency of the channel Attessiâa.
According to the latest information, the official launch of the channel, created by the Tunisian businessman Lassaad Kheder, is imminent. The media premises are fully completed, equipment available and staff ready to start activities.
As a reminder, the launch of Carthage + is part of the implementation of a global project that also includes the creation in Tunis of a university specializing in audiovisual and a “Mediacity”, a free zone built to encourage the establishment of media organizations, news agencies, advertising agencies and other media companies.
