South Africans are about to crown the next best baking Chef as The Great South African Bake Off is returning on small screens for a third season. The series involves a nationwide hunt and crowning of South Africa’s best and sensational baker. The reality TV show will air next month.
“The Great South African Bake Off demonstrates BBC Worldwide’s ongoing commitment to providing high-quality local programming,” the show’s producers said. “Together, Rapid Blue and BBC Worldwide will also be producing a second local commission this year with the hugely anticipated return of Come Dine With Me South Africa for a fourth series,” they said.
The competition will see bakes competing and going all out to wow judges with their originality, skills and creativity, hoping to get through to the final. The show produced by Johannesburg based media company, Rapid Blue, will air on DSTV’s BBC lifestyle. The Great South African Bake Off will be airing on BBC Lifestyle, DStv channel 174 from October 17 at 8pm and repeated on Wednesday afternoons.
