Starz Play Subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) has agreed a partnership deal with telco Orange Egypt to offer its customers unlimited access to Starz Play’s online video catalogue comprising around 6,500 hours of Hollywood movies, documentaries, children’s TV shows and US series.
Maaz Sheikh, CEO of Starz Play, said “The strategic partnership will offer Orange customers a value-for-money experience. This will give customers the chance to watch or stream their favourite movies and TV series such as Ray Donovan and Survivors’ Remorse and popular box sets such as The Walking Dead, The Flash and Friends and a wide range of kids’ content such as Paw Patrol, Phineas And Ferb, and Shimmer and Shine on their smart phones, big screens and many other devices.”
Starz Play, a paid service available to 700,000 subscribers in 19 countries offers content created exclusively for the MENA region. Starz Play also features one-click Arabic subtitling plus Arabic and French audio options. The SVOD platform includes 20th Century Fox, CBS, Disney, Paramount, Showtime, Sony, Starz, Universal, Warner Bros and Lionsgage.
