StarTimes to boost bouquets in subscriber retention strategy

The Pay Television Company StarTimes Media announced on Thursday a resourceful subscriber retention strategy which will be beneficial to customers. Viewers will be able to enjoy upgrades to higher bouquets at the cost of a lower bouquet upon renewal of their monthly subscriptions.

StarTimes Director of Marketing and PR, Japhet Akhulia, stated that every monthly subscription made on the Nyota bouquet will allow subscribers to Basic bouquet and customers registering to Basic will be upgraded to Classic. On the other hand, subscribers enrolling to Classic bouquet will access Unique bouquet and those enrolling to Unique will have ten days access at no extra cost.

Akhulia said, “Subscriptions are key in our ability to retain our strong subscriber base, we have therefore introduced this initiative to enable our subscribers to access more premium channels at no extra cost thereby extending more value for less.”
She added, “We continue to enable more and more households across Kenya to enjoy affordable digital television and are committed to growing our service offering going forward,”

Akhulia furthermore added, “We have adopted this strategy being an effort to not only appreciate our loyal subscribers but also to grow our subscriber numbers and encourage retention through account re-activations during the campaign period which will run between 10th November 2017 and 31st January 2018.”
