Arthur Asiimwe, Director General at Rwanda Broadcasting Corporation, mentioned African authorities should invest in the migration of digital broadcasting.
“Migration to digital broadcasting is still lacking across the continent. The deadlines set by the International Telecommunication Union have not been respected on many occasions. As African broadcasters, we need to raise our voices and call on our respective governments to consider this issue as a national priority, “he added.
For the Vice-President of the African Broadcasting Union, the continent’s delay in the field of digital broadcasting should be one of the main issues.
