Mondo TV sealed broadcasting deal with Emirates Cable TV in UAE

Mondo TV, a media production and distribution company signed a license agreement deal with Emirates Cable TV in the United Arab Emirates.  The license grants TV broadcast rights pay and free in United Arab Emirates the broadcasting rights of the TV series Marcus Level in Arabic which are distributed and produced by Mondo TV.

 

The license whose duration will be 24 months, follows a number of licenses with different public channels in the Gulf and shows the improvement of Mondo TV’s positioning in the Middle East, an important region for the business development of the Group.

 

Mondo TV is one of the major production and distribution animation companies in Europe. Based in Rome, Mondo TV is a public company, quoted on the STAR segment of the Italian main stock exchange, Borsa Italiana. The media company distributes and produces, on its own or in co-production with leading international networks, cartoon series and feature films for television and theatrical release. Mondo TV also operates in other related sectors such as music and audiovisual distribution, exploitation, media, publishing and merchandising.

 

Launched in April 2000, Emirates Cable TV & Multimedia, E-Vision, a subsidiary of the dynamic Emirates Telecommunications Corporation, ETISALAT, was created to meet the demand for a superior technology and services. E-Vision decided to launch the first cable TV network in the UAE and offers Entertainment, Information, Education and Interactive Multimedia Services that will be transmitted digitally across the UAE.
