MultiChoice announced that it will switch off its analogue broadcast service for M-Net at the end of March, reports. MultiChoice said it will make an offer to customers depending on what services they currently have and assist them to migrate to digital reception. Relevant digital decoders and equipment will be provided for the installation.
The deadline for South Africa’s digital migration is June 2019. Some M-Net analogue customers already have a DStv set-up, while others only have their M-Net analogue connection, which is why subscribers must contact MultiChoice, the company said. MultiChoice will then provide the offer that applies to the customer.
