Kenya lost rights for the African soccer Championship

Kenya has lost the right to host the African Nations Championship. The Confederation of African Football declared that many delays for the preparation of the tournament due to the actual state of the country.

CAF made a decision to take the tournament away from Kenya the executive committee has been assembled to vote a new country to welcome the tournament. The host will be announced in two weeks.

Kenya’s preparation was already problematic since the presidential election got nullified and a revote was ordered. Giving the country a political instability problem to deal with.

Kenya is not the only country to be under surveillance by the CAF committee Cameroon is also at risk given its lack of infrastructure to welcome such an event.
