John Perlman, veteran journalist, joins eNCA

Perlman will be hosting a new talk show, Under The Skin, which premieres on August 2nd at 9.30 pm on DSTV channel 403. The show will air every Wednesday evenings and viewers can watch the repeats on Thursday mornings.

Perlman is bringing his unmatched experience in broadcasting to this interview driven show. Perlman will be offering viewers a sneak peek into the life of prominent politicians to business leaders, sportsperson and artists. The show aims to get South Africans to appreciate the emotions and thoughts driving the citizens of the country. For instance, the first to be interviewed for the show will be Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Minister Lindiwe Sisulu and the world-famous HIV-AIDS researcher Dr Glenda Gray.

eNCA Managing Director Mapi Mhlangu says the addition of Perlman to the channel will bring viewers more insightful and thought-provoking programme. “With his vast experience in broadcast, John Perlman has consistently shown his ability to have difficult and necessary national conversations, drawing South Africans out to tell their truth on their own terms,” Mahlangu said.
