iCan TV unveils DTH service in Sierra Leone

iCan TV, France based satellite TV provider, will launch direct-to-home service in Sierra Leone, West Africa. The DTH service will be available for SLL750,000 (USD193) registration fee followed by a monthly subscription of SLL180,000 (USD46.33), said a media report.

According to Alhaji Alpha Kanu, Minister of Information and Communications, the entry of iCan TV in the African satellite TV sector is an achievement for both the nation and the government of Sierra Leone.

The company will provide the service with its own local channels in two months. It will later add SLBC and Star TV on its channels bouquet.
