In a recent announcement made, DStv, they Pay-TV service provider owned by South African company, Multichoice, said that they will be shuffling the SuperSport channels on their service.
The shuffle will take effect on the 4th July 2017. Gideon Khobane, CEO for SuperSports said the changes will be happening to make it easier for sports fans to navigate around the different sports channels and for them to find their favourite sport quickly. This will also reduce the duplication of sports across channels. There will be an addition of a new HD channel to make the viewing experience more enjoyable. The shuffling aims to bring more predictable scheduling.
DStv customers can look forward to 14 SuperSport and one eSports channel. DStv customers can go to the channel’s website to see how the sports are allocated across the different SuperSport channels.
