CANAL + is pleased to announce the roll-out of its Easy TV digital quality offering in Matadi, the capital of Kongo Central Province. Through this unique solution deployed by Telenum DRC, the ambition is to offer quality content at an affordable price for the greatest number.

After its successful launch in Lubumbashi and Kinshasa in July and October 2016, acclaimed since by its subscribers for the quality of its broadcast as well as the variety of its programs, the Easy TV digital TV offer is now deployed in Matadi. In Matadi, the TNT package covers a wide range of themes (entertainment, information, series, cinema, sports, religion, youth, music and discovery) with reference channels (A +, A + Sport, Novelas TV, Infosport +, Movies + Star, France 24, TV5 World, Planet +, Piwi + …) but also a large number of Congolese channels (RTNC, RTVA, RTDV, RTMV, Sango Malamu, Antenna A, B One, Malaïka).

“EASYTV is a success in the DRC because we knew how to make a difference on the technical quality and the richness of the bouquet. Thus, our subscribers are already ten times more numerous than the homes connected to the satellite. This progression validates the relevance of the EASYTV offer adapted to the demand and expectations of Congolese viewers “, explains HELENE MIASUEKAMA KIESE, General Manager of the TELENUM RDC company which associates the CANAL + Group and the Congolese channel ANTENNE A for the deployment of EASYTV.

“This extension of our broadcast in Matadi is a tremendous encouragement and we thank the Head of State HE Joseph KABILA KABANGE, the Prime Minister Head of the Government of the Republic, the Minister of Communication and Media, the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications and New Information and Communication Technologies, President of the Regulatory Authority of Posts and Telecommunications, the Higher Council for Audiovisual and Communication and the Coordinator of the transition to TNT for the confidence that ‘they grant Telenum DRC,’ says Mr Igal Avivi Meirson, Chief Executive Officer of Antenne A.
