Canal+ Africa added 233,000 subscribers in the first half of 2019

Canal+ in Africa added approximately 233,000 subscribers to this database in the first half of 2019. The company has currently a fleet of 4.34 million subscribers against 4.11 at the start of the year. Compared to 2018, 568,000 subscribers have been added.

This growth certainly owes much to the exclusivity obtained by the company to broadcast the African Cup of Nations on pay platforms.

Africa should soon equal to 4.583 million Canal+ subscribers where in France the operator lost 209,000 subscribers compared to the first half of 2018.
