Bounce TV inked broadcasting deal for sub-Saharan Africa and Francophone Africa

Bounce TV, the American digital multicast television network targeting African Americans, is out to syndicate its original content with two distinguished programme licensing agreements, with Viacom International Media Networks and Afrostream.

The deal is a multiyear one covering multiple platforms, with Viacom International Media Networks licensing the rights to ‘Saints & Sinners’, ‘In The Cut’, ‘Mann & Wife’ and ‘My Crazy Roommate’. On the other hand, Afrostream will also be licensing the three shows ‘In The Cut’, ‘Mann & Wife’ and ‘My Crazy Roommate’, alongside ‘Family Time’ and ‘Off the Chain’. According to the deal, territories for both companies will include the sub-Saharan Africa and Canal+ Overseas Francophone.

Jonathan Katz, the chief operating officer of Bounce TV, commented about the development: “Bounce TV original series are our highest-rated programming and they have huge multi-generational appeal”.

Also, he added that: “Syndicating our original content internationally creates another revenue stream and introduces the Bounce TV brand outside the United States. Viacom International Media Networks and Afrostream are leaders in bringing Black culture to fans around the world and we are thrilled to be in business with both companies”.
