Residents of the Middle East African countries will be tuned in for the RIO 2016 Olympics, this year. OSN, beIN and Abu Dhabi Sports channels will be telecasting the sports competition from 4 August to 22.
beIn and OSN will be airing the Olympics on eLife TV and other local free-to-air channels. While beIN will be screening highlights and the sports competition in Arabic on HD 1 and HD9, Abu Dhabi will have its coverage being aired on AD Sports 1 in Arabic language and AD Sports 2 in English. Both Abu Dhabi and beIN will showcase the Olympics coverage in High Definition (HD) topped with commentaries in English and Arabic, the service being free of charge.
Note that, Live coverage without studio coverage will be available in both Arabic and English languages on AD Sports channels 3 to 6. beIN’s channels 11 and 12 will proffer coverage of the sports competition in HD whilst beIN sports channels (1 to 10) will screen selected events.
