Arabsat introduces dedicated frequency for Tunisian channels

Arabsat has dedicated a frequency on BADR-4 Satellite for all the Tunisian Channels it presently broadcasts.  The Middle East and North African (MENA) satellite operator revealed that Tunisia Nat1, Tunisia Nat2, Hannibal TV and Al Janoubia TV will now join Attasia TV and M Tunisia TV in the Tunisian Channels Bouquet from ONT, via the 12,643 MHz frequency on the BADR-4 satellite.  

Khalid Balkheyour, Arabsat president and CEO said that the company was “delighted” with its partnership with Tunisia’s state broadcasting corporation, Office National de la Télédiffusion (ONT), which allowed it to offer its services to Tunisia’s broadcasters at the new frequency.  

He further added: “We are delighted with our partnership with ONT, to bring up the Tunisian channels from their home country looking forward to continue to offer their unique services to Tunisian Broadcasters through the strong partnership with ONT on Arabsat BADR-4 new frequency 12,643 MHz.” 

Furthermore, Khalid Balkheyour mentioned that this move supports Arabsat’s Strategy to deliver specialised video frequencies reflecting market demand to their subscribers across the MENA while ensuring the best Free-to-Air home viewing experience.
